It is a good time to invest

Now may be a good time for seasoned homebuyers to snap up some properties.
That is according to a number of experts at the Homebuyer Show, who say that investors with money behind them can land some very good deals at present.
According to Property for Life, 75 per cent of buy-to-let property investors believe that now is a good time to purchase property and the firm agrees.
"Investors who are serious about long-term investment and who already have a number of properties behind them can really benefit from the current climate. With the latest interest rate cut and rates, which are already historically low, expected to fall further next year, our recent survey shows that almost 70 per cent of investors still have a desire to buy," said David Austin, managing director of Property for Life.
"One of the best options for investors is diversification. Seasoned investors should diversify on area, type of property and tenant thus widening their portfolio and protecting against risk.
"Experienced landlords keep the long term picture in mind, wisely investing in areas where rental yields are greater and with fewer void periods. The combination of diversification and research is the key to a strong portfolio," he added.
The Association of Residential Lettings Agents recently revealed that UK landlords are charging record rents.
