FTBs to benefit from turmoil

FTBs to benefit from turmoil

First-time buyers (FTBs) are actually set to benefit from the recent turmoil in the financial markets.

That is according to 1st Property Investment, which says that FTBs are in a strong position despite the global credit crunch.

According to the firm, FTBs merely have to search for a deal and they should be able to find one which really suits their needs.

"First-time buyers are going to get more of a selection now than they would ever normally have," said Andy Smith from 1st Property Investment.

"There will be more time to think and there are more deals to be struck now than there have been at any time in the last three or four years because with the slow down, and particularly before Christmas, there are a lot of worried people out there and that puts first-time buyers in a very strong position to go and buy something.

"As far as the growth that has already occurred, I believe there are always ways of getting on the housing ladder if you want to," he continued.

The firm also pointed out that now is a very good time to invest in London and the south-east of England.ADNFCR-1116-ID-18357751-ADNFCR
